2013      Murgo   Brut Spumante Vino Spumante di Qualità Metodo Classico              

Pale straw with a strong mousse. Peach, apricot and apple on the perfumed, fruity nose. Then fresh but creamy, offering baked apple, cinnamon and vanilla flavors that linger impressively on the multilayered finish. 100 percent Nerello Mascalese.

2009      Murgo   Extra Brut Vino Spumante di Qualità Metodo Classico       

Medium-dark straw with a persistent stream of small bubbles. Quince and apricot aromas and flavors are lifted by bright floral notes of jasmine and peony. Classically dry and tactile on the fresh, long finish.

2015      Murgo   Etna Bianco       

Vivid pale yellow. Bright aromas of white plum, lemon, acacia flower and saline minerality. Fresh, dense and juicy, showing a distinctly saline quality and very good lemony bite to the flavors of fresh citrus fruit and crushed rocks. Much brighter, more lemony and less buttery than many Carricante-Cataratto blends. A 70 percent Carricante and 30 percent Cataratto blend.

2014      Murgo   Etna Rosso         

Bright red. Expressive aromas of strawberry, red currant and iron, lifted by a violet topnote. Then bright and juicy in the mouth; sweet fruitiness is nicely balanced by harmonious acidity and a firm tannic spine. Finishes long, with hints of flinty quinine and strawberry tones.
